My Edmonton Story

I moved to Edmonton in 2015 for family reasons — my brother was teaching astrophysics at the University of Alberta, and I wanted to be close. What started as a practical decision quickly became something much deeper. Edmonton welcomed me with open arms. From the river valley to the local arts scene, this city has a way of making you feel at home. For families and dreamers alike, there’s something truly special here.

Our first home was in Windermere, and over the years, we’ve moved through different neighbourhoods — each one teaching me something new about the city and its people. I also spent meaningful time in both Calgary and Grande Prairie, which gave me a broader perspective on Alberta life — from the north’s resilience to the city’s pace and opportunity.

Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats — from managing hotels to working in the oilfield and fracking industry. I've also spent years working as a commercial lawyer — a career I began back in 2008, advising businesses and individuals on high-stakes decisions and complex agreements. That background gave me a sharp eye for contracts, negotiation, and protecting my clients’ interests — shaping the way I approach every real estate transaction today.

I’m proud to call myself an Albertan. And in my opinion, Alberta is the best province in Canada. When you work up north, you feel the real Alberta — the grit, the connection, the unshakable values. Then when you’re back in the city, you see how dynamic and diverse this province truly is. Some say Alberta is just the “Texas of Canada,” but I strongly disagree. Alberta isn’t just about oil and gas — it’s about heart. It’s about people who are grounded, welcoming, and deeply proud of where they’re from.

Along my journey, many Albertans helped me — in small and big ways — and they still do. So now, I return the favour every chance I get. Whether it’s offering advice, lending time, or simply showing up for someone in need, I try to help everyone I meet with whatever I can. That’s why, for me, it’s never been about commission. I care far more about helping people, building meaningful relationships, and making a real difference — each person, to the best of their ability, in their own way.

My real estate journey began when I helped a close friend buy their first home. That moment changed everything. I realized how much I love guiding people through one of life’s biggest milestones — helping them feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way. That’s when I knew this was more than a job — it was a calling.

Outside of real estate, I spend time with my family on Edmonton’s trails, volunteer at the food bank, and cheer on the Oilers. I know this city — and this province — inside and out. And I bring that knowledge, loyalty, and insight to every client I serve. Because to me, real estate isn’t about selling. It’s about helping people find home.
