People have traveled from afar to take part in the local atmosphere of the tavern and restaurant with the local "East wall gang" telling their stories to the visitors, eager to listen to them, some true, some embellished or just some made up. With the time and passing of all of the "East wall gang", there left a void in the local community as there were no more stories being told and there was no place to seek advice, as most of the gang held their consulting offices in the tavern.
